Senior Inspector (Mechanical - Motor Vehicle And Plant). Csg 11, Job Group J (3 Posts)
Salary Scale NYS: Kshs. 31,270-41,260 P.M
Allowances
House Allowance Kshs. 10,000 PM
Commuter Allowance Kshs. 4,000 PM
Leave allowance Kshs. 4,000 PA
Terms of Service Three year, renewable contract based on performance,

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of senior inspector Motor vehicle/plant) will entail:
1. Responsible to the officer in charge of the repair of motor vehicles and plant machinery:
2.Deployed in a section within the workshop:
3. Inspection of motor vehicles and plant/verification of the required spare parts;
4. Testing of vehicles and Equipment before and after repair
5.Conducting proficiency tests for drivers, and
6. Supervision of junior staff.

Person Specification
For appointment to this post, the candidate must have:
Higher Diploma (Automotive) or other approved equivalent qualification
Driving License; Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Associate Degree
