Senior Frontend Engineer - VueJS

Boya makes it easy to make payments, control and keep track of expenses for both organizations and consumers. We enable businesses to issue virtual money to employees for spending and automate reconciliation. We empower finance teams of all sizes to do recons in minutes, not days or weeks. The organizations that use Boya have come to rely on us for not only paying business suppliers but also bulk payment processing like paying workers and reimbursements. All these happen through one dashboard and a mobile app for payments.
We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who is particularly great at the front-end using the VueJs framework. This person is key for us to achieve a customer-first user experience on the web and empower every organization that uses Boya to stay in control of their spending and therefore growth.
The frontend engineer at Boya builds user interface components and libraries that scale to the business needs of a multi-product business and are performant, reliable, secure, responsive, and accessible.

Responsibilities
• You will build UI components, libraries, tools, and services that power the Boya platform for customers, developers, and partners.
• You will ensure our UI components are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible to support scale.
• You will take the lead in ensuring all frontend apps/pages are optimized for responsiveness and maximum speed.
Some projects you may work on immediately:
• Redesigning and developing a new onboarding to make it easy for organizations to onboard with their employees across different access platforms and geographies.
• Redesigning (with in-house designers) how organizations advance money to employees, reconcile expenses, process invoices, and consume reports and analytics to make us provide the best way to track and manage expenses.
• Redesigning the Boya business dashboard to be accessible on different platforms and enhance better tracking and management of expenses.
• Integrating ML tools to help businesses visualize data, create dashboards and enhance budgeting.

We are looking for someone who has:
• 5+ years of web application development experience using VueJS.
• A strong product design background - web (HTML-CSS guru). Tailwind is a great plus!
• Knowledge of CI-CD setups and you can set up one.
• Basic to advanced knowledge on Amazon web services - S3, EC2, ECS, CF, etc.
• Node-Express experience in production systems.
• A background in business/entrepreneurship is preferable in a startup.
• A bias for action, and beliefs in teamwork, and obsession with customer feedback driving growth.
• Fun working in a fast-paced environment building products from ground zero with just enough context and less supervision.
