Senior Finance Manager-East and Central Africa
Job Description Summary
Lead Franchise Finance function for Kenya and also finance topics for consolidated East and Central Africa Franchise Unit comprising of 14 countries and 20 bottling partners (i.e. value chain reviews, financial assessment for new investments, understand financial performance and recommendation actions to improve and grow).
Key Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform financial analysis and projects evaluation for Franchise Unit’s business initiatives, including the identification of new opportunities to enhance volume performance and value creation
• Develop Value Chain Analysis to identify the profitability profile of our categories, products, channels and packages
• Lead strategic finance processes for the Franchise such Long Range Planning, ABP, Monthly Performance Reviews
• Lead tracking System Economics for ECAF and provide recommendations to secure healthy System financials
• Act as the CFO for Kenya operations leading all topics related to finance function
• Provide financial support to innovation initiatives in Kenya within the time-frame required by project managers, as well as post-launching reviews
Role Requirement
• At least 10 Years of work experience, preferably in consumer goods industry or top consultant firms
• Bachelor degree in Finance, economics or business administration. Possession of an MBA is an added advantage
• Solid knowledge of Finance analysis / project valuations methodologies and/or strategic planning processes
• Project management / creation (data gathering, depuration, consolidation, interpretation, recommendation)
• Experience in Commercial Finance
• Computer proficiency and financial modeling
• Negotiation skills
• Good communication / team-working
• Analytical skills
• Results oriented
