2. Senior Examination Administration Officer, JOB GRADE 4 (RE-ADVERT)
Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:
(i) Implementing policies, standards and procedures for administering examinations;
(ii) Ensuring candidates applications are processed, assess candidates’ eligibility, process examination fees and produce acknowledgement letters;
(iii) Processing exemption requests and making recommendations;
(iv) Receiving and examining exemptions and appeal applications and credentials for new and continuing students to ascertain their eligibility;
(v) Preparing and circulating examination timetables;
(vi) Checking and finalizing candidates lists for examination sitting;
(vii) Ensuring data and information is accurately entered and protected in the Examinations Management System;
(viii) Coordinating marking of examinations and preparing detailed reports;
(ix) Analyzing exam results and making recommendations;
(x) Experience in managing online examinations;
(xi) Processing candidates’ marks for all examinations;
(xii) Managing student registration process; and
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -
(i) Served in the grade of Examination Administration Officer for a minimum period of four (4) years or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector for a minimum period of six (6) years;
(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(iii) Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource management;
(iv) Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) is an added advantage;
(v) Proficiency in computer applications;
(vi) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
(vii) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
