Senior Backend Developer (FIX & Mitch)

Job Purpose
The backend developer will be responsible for building scalable RESTFul APIs, the server-side application logic, integration with both internal and external systems.

Job Responsibilities
• Strategy, Planning & ExecutionDesign, build and maintain efficient RESTFul APIs in FIX (Trading Gateway) &/or MITCH (Market Data Feed) protocolsBuild Reusable Code and Library for Future UseDesign and Implementation of data storage solutionsWork with Frontend and Mobile App developers to define RESTFul API specsWork well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high value resultsParticipating in Sprint Planning and tracking work items

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5+ years’ experience developing applications in FIX (Trading Gateway) &/or MITCH (Market Data Feed) protocolsExperience with SOAP and REST servicesGood understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practicesFamiliarity with container technologies like Docker and K8sExperience with SQL Server, Oracle Database and MongoDBExperience with cloud technologies Azure/AWSExperience with OAuth and JWT TokensKnowledge of API Management solutionsKnowledge of Microservice ArchitectureExperience with gRPCExperience with Kafka
