JOB DETAILS:
We provide Pay-As-You-Go LPG cooking for all Kenyans.
We are looking for an experience and enthusiastic security and network engineer to join our rapidly growing IoT business.
You will be support the development and operation of our systems in AWS (Amazon Web Services) by establishing and maintaining a secure cloud environment, and monitoring and managing our systems for security vulnerabilities and incidents. .

Responsibilities
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS cloud network and connections to partners
• Engineer, implement and monitor, security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
• Identify and document network requirements
• Identify and define system security requirements
• Develop technical solutions and implement security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
• Monitor networks and systems, for connectivity, capacity, or security issues.
• Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
• Take a lead in resolving security incidents
• Assist colleagues to understand and follow good practice in network and system configuration.
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
• Ensure security good practice is followed in software deployment and operations.

Skills
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, etc
• Experience with AWS particularly VPC, Cloud Formation, CloudTrail and CloudWatch.
• Deep experience designing and implementing network architectures including creation of networks, subnets, routing tables, VPNs, and creation of firewall rules.
• Excellent network design and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of Information Security in web applications.
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Enthusiasm to continually improve skills and learn new technologies
• At least two years relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili
