JOB DETAILS:
Main Purpose
• The purpose of the job is to ensure the security of employees, capital assets, and proprietary information of the organization by providing strategic direction, tactical management, emergency planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Develops new security programs by strategically reviewing existing security programs; conducting comprehensive studies of present and anticipated threats; evaluating, analysing, and continuously reviewing collection activity results on potential threats against the organization.
• Maintains incident management and protection systems by developing and refining philosophy and design standards relating to these systems; re-defining; examining organization emergency response systems; reviewing building design and making recommendations for physical security improvements.
• Conduct training and awareness initiatives on security matters to all staff and security team to identify areas of vulnarability and improvement.
• Provides information by reviewing, developing, and continually refining security operation’s operational manuals and procedures; briefing executives and managers on security-related issues.
• Manage the outsourced security resources and systems by assigning them work, aligning them to the company culture and updating them on new developments in the company while adding value to enhance security across all branches.
• Drives and maintains Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and procedures in line with relevant regulations and internal policies as supported by Liberty Group and implement across all office locations utilizing available resources.
• Supplement the forensic investigations conducted through the Group Forensic Services (GFS) and participate in acquiring chain of evidence for investigations to facilitate further actions by relevant parties
• Liaise closely with emergency service providers, county government officers and National Police Services in the conduct and support of business requirements.
Qualifications
• Minimum Degree in relevant field.
• Relevant Professional qualification.
Experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Security Forces (Police or KDF)

• Good understanding of legislative framework related to security
• Understanding of security and incident management processes and controls
• Security assessment techniques
• Risk response strategies
• Occupational Health and Safety protocols and policies
• Support to legal and operational processes relating to investigation and prosecution
