The Kenya Film Classification Board is a State Corporation established by the Film and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 Laws of Kenya to regulate the creation, broadcast, possession, distribution and exhibition of film and broadcast content in the country.

JOB DETAILS:
The Board invites applications from suitable and qualified persons to fill the following positions:

Security Officer Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager, the duties and responsibilities at this level will include, but not limited to:

•  Ensuring the security, safety and well being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
  
•  Undertaking Security surveillance;
  
•  Ensuring that offices and equipment are safe;
  
•  Ensuring that firefighting equipment are in place and in serviceable
•  Developing and implementing security policies and strategies in liaison with the Head of Administration;
  
•  Supervising the work of Security Wardens and ensuring standing regulations/procedures are complied with;
  
•  Maintaining a detailed security register; and
  
•  Administering First Aid in case of an emergency.
  

Requirements for the Security Officer Job

•  Be a Kenyan citizen;
  
•  Have ten (10) years working experience three (3) of which should have been served in the grade of Security Warden I or comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
  
•  Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ and above;
  
•  Have post-Secondary School training in Security Management from a recognised institution;
  
•  Demonstrate knowledge of security operations and procedures;
  
•  Have Certificate in computer applications;
  
•  Be physically and medically fit.
