JOB DETAILS:
Security Manager, Mugie Conservancy, Laikipia, Kenya
Outline -
Mugie Conservancy is a working livestock ranch and high end tourism destination in Laikipia County, The Conservancy intends to recruit an experienced Security Manager to manage a dedicated security team of approximately 80 personnel.
The successful candidate will understand Laikipia's security challenges, interface with and support Mugie's neighbours and be able to work with law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities -
• Lead, manage, mentor, train and inspire the Security Team:
• Contribute positively with Mugle's senior management team, leading on all security
issues, collaborating with other senior managers and especially working closely
with the community office:
• Proactively plan, develop, design and implement effective security strategies
•Establish effective working relationships with government security agencies and maintain regular meetings to share challenges and information
The Successful CandidateThe successful candidate will have a background in Kenya's uniformed services such as KWS or the Kenya Army. He or she will be under 45 years old and have a minimum of 10 years experience in state, conservation or commercial security operations.

Requirements - .
• High school diploma and further education qualification desired: .
•State-prescribed security training, licensing and preferably registration
• At least 10 years of experience in similar mid-level top-level cole(s):
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills:
• Readiness to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
