SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANT

Williamson Tea Kenya Plc is seeking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Assistant at our Head Office in Nairobi. The candidate will report to the Marketing md Technical Manager as well as assist the Shipping Department in carrying out its mandated functions.

THE JOB
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing and Technical Manager in carrying out various strategies that involve:

• Looking after an existing client base, compiling, analysing, and reporting market data to help maintain client relationships.
  
• Communicate with buyers on export specifications and liaise with tea farms on sales and ensure timely cross communication between all parties. and ensure timely cross communication between all parties.
  
• Work closely with the Shipping Department, to ensure details on export documents are error free and to the buyer satisfaction as well as manage a Tea Tracking System.
  
• Follow up with buyers and dealing with day to day sales contracts for all clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Commerce or any other relevant Business Degree with a specialty in Marketing from a recognised University.
  
• Proficient in IT skills with thorough knowledge of computer applications and use of databases including information systems.
  
• Have at least two years‘ experience preferably in Sales and Marketing field.
  
• Have excellent communication skills [written and interpersonal relations] preferably Business English.
  
• A valid driving license.
