DESCRIPTION
Kinangop Dairy Limited (KDL),a Kenyan Company that specializes in the processing and packaging of fresh milk and other high value dairy products and being an equal opportunity employer, is seeking to recruit highly skilled aggressive, reliable, self-motivated and focused individual to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Manager Reporting to and working closely with the General Manager Sales and Marketing, he
She will be stationed at either of the Company's Head Office located in Ndunyu Njeru. North Kinangop. Nyandarua County or in Nairobi (about 20km from Ndunyulgerul. .

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Deliver daily, weekly and monthly sales targets/quotas by ensuring cost effective & efficient route to Market mapping and an up-to-date (live) customer database.
b) At Retail level
i) Ensure KDL's brands are at all times adequately stocked, displayed sold at RRP and optimally merchandized
ii) Develop and maintain exceptional business relationships, Account Management and rapport with Retail Outlets at the General, Modem Trade Institutions
iii) Delivery of high level customer service through optimization of allocated marketing and brand building activities as well as continuously categorize Trade Chain Outlets to ensure optimal service of KDL brands.
iv) Gather Trade Chain market intelligence to enable KOL to respond accordingly.
v) Develop and become a 'Trade Chain expert status, who can be consulted for advice, direction
and support
vi) Will successfully drive high-value products business.
vii) Manage Supervisory and Direct sales team.
c) At the Distributors & Wholesalers level, to deliver agreed sales targets by employing modern techniques and business approaches

2. QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a first degree in Commerce Marketing or a business related subject from a reputable university
Master's in Business Administration will be an added advantage and a postgraduate market related certificate will have a distinct advantage. .
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a sales and marketing manager in FMCG .
Must Be Computer illiterate with strong competence in the relevant computer packages and other IT skills.

3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must demonstrate ability to meet exceeded set targets. Customer/Consumer care and an understanding of the Principles & Practices of sales and marketing
Must have an understanding of FMCG as well as Territorial market knowledge
