JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Liaise with Local and internal Authorities and other stake holders on matters safety.
• Ensure the implementation of appropriate actions that address relevant compliance and/or conformity issues.
• Effectively utilize Jambojet's reporting system, monitor and report on safety trends.
• Manage safety related risks in collaboration with operational managers.
• Ensure organizational awareness of relevant safety related matters
• Monitor the Safety division budgets.
• Ensure that the organization’s program for setting safety performance measures is fully implemented in all departments.
• Carry out internal and external safety audits
• Coordinate the implementation of Emergency Response Program

Knowledge, Skills and Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation related field
• Quality and Safety Management Systems certification recognized by KCAA.
• ERP Awareness training
• Accident investigation certification shall be an added advantage.
• Five years of experience in aviation safety with two years experience in management roles
• Knowledge of safety management principles (EASA, ICAO, IOSA)
• Experience in project management
• Data analysis and problem solving skills
