6. Road Inspector, JOB GROUP CPSB 11 (1 POST)

Duties And Responsibilities
i. Assist in undertaking road inventory and condition survey at the Sub-County level. ii. Assist in monitoring and coordinating field work activities. iii. Assist in quality control in construction projects. iv. Assisting in preparation of daily progress reports.
V. Assisting in ensuring site procedures and materials comply with specification. vi. Assisting in measurement of works during site operations on a daily basis. vii. Selecting and locating suitable materials for road works. viii. Advising on priorities for maintenance programs.
ix. Perform any other duties assigned by the Director Roads.

Requirements For Appointment
i. Be a Kenyan Citizen ii. Certificate in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution. iii. Have a relevant experience of working in similar position in the Public Service or Private
Sector for a minimum one (1) year. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
a. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation b. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) c. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) d. Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e. Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
