Our client, Salaam Investment Bank Kenya Ltd is the first Shariah compliant investment bank in Kenya having beenlicensed by the Capital Markets Authority in November 2018. They wish to recruit the following key pioneer staff.
RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER - JOB REF: MN 7760
JOB PROFILE
Reporting to the Chairman, Audit & Risk Management Committee, the Risk and Compliance Manager will:
o Develop, promote and roll out (with the help of executive team) a risk management framework in SIB;
o Identify SIB risks, assess SIB risks and recommend appropriate risks response and other risks management strategy;
o Draft a compliance calendar and seek its approval from the board
PERSON PROFILE
o 6-10 years' experience in financial institution of the following functions; compliance, auditing and risk management and 5 years in a senior management role;
o Bachelor Degree in Business (B. Com, BBA, BBM, Economics and the like)
