Bank is offering all the Banking services to its customers, enabled with transaction based banking- Internet Banking, RTGS (Domestic) & ready to offer  cross border RTGS among East African Countries through East African Payment System (EAPS).

JOB DETAILS:
The Bank is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self driven and result oriented professional to occupy the position of a Risk and Compliance Officer. The Risk and

Compliance Offioer will be mponsible for, but not limited to the following:

•  Implement a risk-based compliance monitoring programme from the compliance Flisk management plans.
  
•  Ensure all porttolios managed by the Bank comply with regulatory and Bank's guidelines.
  
•  Establish a healthy nsk culture within the business.
  
•  Prepare and? or enhance compliance obligation checklists and self assessment of regulatory, legislative, AML and compliance policies in conjunction with the respective business functions.
  
•  Conduct ofi-site and onsite reviews to ensure compliance risk management controls are being adhered to.
  
•  Work with business functions to ensure potential risks have been mitigated in the Bank's proposed future business activities.
  
•  Make recommendations tor the amendment of policies, procedures and processes where necessary.
  
•  Fleview awareness and provide training to bank stafl on compliance policies.
  
•  Ensuring statutory and contractual compliance by the Bank; and
  
•  Assisting the Bank with other assigned duties.
  

Qualifications, knowtedge and Experience:

•  Have a Mastersf Bachelors degree in business, accounting or finance relatsed course.
  
•  Should have Minimum 14 year of expenence of sarne nature in the banking industry.
  
•  Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and business environment of the banking industry.
  
•  Must be a performance driven, strong arialytical, having good communication and presentation skills, leadership skill with high personal integrity, hard worker and team player, able to work under pressure with minimal supeniision and be able to meet deadlines; and should have excellent organizational and analytical skiils
