JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the outlets, leadership and management of the sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction through provision of effective and efficient customer service and complaint solving.
Key Responsibilities
• You will coordinate the overall daily operation of the retail outlets to ensure cost effective and quality operations
• Supervising all shops including maintaining all operations, sales and financial aspects within the department. This will include stock availability, logistics, manpower planning, and generation of weekly and monthly retail reports as may be agreed with your supervisor
• Drive the team to increase sales & day supervision of retail outlets, including sales, staff, stock and resources management
• Expected to learn to mentor, coach and lead to ensure long term and sustainable high performance for staff.
• Drive achievement of set area customer satisfaction target, through process innovations and staff skill set development
• Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner
• Prepare periodic management reports informed by the daily store activity and sales reports
• Effectively lead, manage, train and develop staff to agreed procedures
• Assist in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees in retail department
• Supervise the retail team to ensure achievement of retail store revenue targets, operational goals and customer satisfaction
• Carry out branch visits for retails shops as allocated in support of the retail operations
Job Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Experience in retail supermarket /FMCG is an added advantage.
• Possess first class numeric and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be a team player with the ability to drive the team to unsurpassed success
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field
• Strong business sense and industry expertise.
