JOB DETAILS:
We seek proactive and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Assistants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. The role offers opportunities for continuous personal development through organized training & merit-based promotions.

Responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance:
• Greet customers as they enter the supermarket and provide assistance as needed.
• Offer guidance and recommendations to customers regarding product locations, promotions, and special offers.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.

2. Maintaining Store Appearance:
• Ensure the sales floor, aisles, and shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day.
• Monitor and replenish merchandise as needed to maintain attractive displays and prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Arrange products according to established guidelines and ensure proper labeling and pricing.

3. Safety and Security:
• Maintain awareness of potential safety hazards on the sales floor and promptly address any issues to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Monitor customer behavior and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities to management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and hazardous materials.

4. Inventory Management:
• Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise, checking for accuracy, expiries and quality.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation to minimize product spoilage and waste.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and address inventory discrepancies.

5. Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to share information, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• A certificate or diploma in any field
• Proactive enough to undertake tasks without being told or foreseeing a need and addressing it.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
