Research Nurse, Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health

Job Summary
The role is responsible for enrollment, data collection, blood sampling and follow up of study participants, to better understand how severe acute respiratory-coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2) infection during pregnancy impacts women and their neonates during pregnancy and post-partum period.

Responsibilities
• Taking consent
• Filling of case report forms
• Availing the test kits to the sites
• Collection of blood samples
• Packaging and delivery of blood samples to the laboratory
• Phone calls to the participants
• Home/hospital visits to the participants
• Collection of follow up data

Requirements
• Minimum of a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Nurse or equivalent
• Registered with relevant professional body
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Experience in Research is an asset
• Experience in Nursing and midwifery

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36
