Salary Scale NYS: Ksh. 25,470-33,950 PM
Allowances
House Allowance Ksh.10,000 PM
Commuter Allowance Ksh.6,000 PM
Leave allowance Ksh. 4.000 PA
Extraneous allowance Kshs 20,000 P.M
Risk allowance Kshs 3.850 PM
Health workers allowance Kshs 15,000 P.M

Terms of Service Three year, renewable contract based on performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of the Registered Nurse willentail:
Assessing planning, implementing Nursing interventions and evaluating patient's outcome:
Providing appropriate healthcare services
Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
Referring patients and clients appropriately
Facilitating patients admission and initiating discharge plans;
Maintaining records on patients/clients health condition and care:
Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment collecting and compiling data, and
Collecting and compiling data.

Person Specification
For appointment to this post, the candidate must have:
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution
Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya:
Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; and
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Associate Degree
