CARE s East. Central and Southern Africa Regional Office (ECSARO) is responsible for the oversight of CARE's operations in the region as well as the provision of support and guidance to 15 Country Offices (COs in the region.
We are currently looking for energetic, talented, well connected and Innovative individuals to join our team. .

Job details:
• The Regional Communications Manager will support the Region and the Country Offices as needed on all communications issues and be responsible for supporting the core Communications functions within CARE East, Central and Southern Africa Region. The position may also require providing occasional back-up support for Country Offices, especially in a crisis.

Job requirements;
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communications Media studies. Journalism or similar field, minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar role including general communications, crisis communications and situation reports and communications on site) in emergencies, social media.
• Previous work experience with an international NGO (development and humanitarian) and working in a regional Communications position as well as working knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
• Additionally, the candidate must have proven excellent and extensive IT skills especially in Communications Apps and Packages and social media.
