Who you'll work with
You will be based in one of our EEMA offices and be a part of recruiting team and firm’s recruiting community. You will collaborate closely with the recruiting team and office leadership to lead recruiting strategy and candidate life cycle recruiting efforts for the office location and continue to innovate McKinsey’s recruiting strategy.
What you'll do
• You will develop a clear and efficient infrastructure and systems to support recruiting across EEMA region which programs tailored to key sources of talent (campus & lateral); these systems include sourcing, local university career services relationship management, candidate pipeline management, candidate evaluation, decision making, comprehensive internship programs, event planning, and resource allocation.
• You will establish recruiting strategies to guide decisions and actions, with the objective of meeting both office and firm targets for distinctive, high-caliber hires. Together with the recruiting leadership team (associate director of recruiting, manager of recruiting and other co-managers) identify team priorities and develop deployment plan, agree on development objectives, and action plans for team members, and oversee day-to-day team operations.
• You will directly manage and mentor assigned recruiters.
• You'll work closely with the practice leads to set overall and area strategies across EEMA including day-to-day operations and providing upward feedback. You'll lead in the organization of appropriate teams to support recruiting efforts; you'll manage team’s deployment at events.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of recruiting experience in-house or recruiting agency
• Ability to build and cultivate professional relationships with recruiting team members and firm colleagues
• Proven to be collaborative team player and demonstrated ability to play a leadership role, contributing to development of others
• Excellent project and time management skills – driver of changeAbility to navigate complexity in an ambiguous environment
