Quantity Survey Assistant III

Requirements for Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Be a holder of at least a Diploma in any of the following fields: Quantity Survey/ Building/Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
• Served in the grade of Quantity Surveyor Assistant III JG CPSB 11, or in a comparable position in the County Public Service for at least one (1) year;
• Possess excellent problem–solving skills and good communication skills;
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel);
• Have demonstrated a high degree of professional and technical competence as
• reflected in work performance and results; and,
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Duties and responsibilities
• Squaring dimensions and abstracting for the preparation of bill of quantities;
• Preparation of specifications;
• Site measurements;
• Preparation of payment certificates and final accounts; and,
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
