3. Public Relations And Communication Officer II, JOB GROUP ‘CPSB 10’ (J) ONE (1) POST
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must:
1. Be a Kenyan Citizen;
2. Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Possess good oral written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili; and
1. Certificate in Computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Gathering information on existing programmes, significant events and the impact on customers and forwarding the same to the head of the department for dissemination; and
2. Liaising with media practitioners and the public on issues of mutual concern under the guidance of a senior officer.
