INVITATION TO TENDER

TENDER NO. NCC/ENV/ONT/089/2022-2023- PROVISION OF SOLID WASTE COLLECTION, TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES – KIBRA– NAIROBI

1. The NAIROBI CITY COUNTY (NCC) hereafter referred as [the county] invites sealed tenders for the provision of solid waste collection, transportation and disposal services – KIBRA– Nairobi for period of 2 years.

2. Tendering will be conducted under National open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the county Website www.nairobi.go.ke or PPIP Website www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.

4. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to nairobiprocurement@gmail.comto facilitate any further clarification or addendum.

5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a BID SECURITY IN THE FORM OF UNCONDITIONAL BANK GUARANTEE ISSUED BY BANKS REGULATED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA of KSHS. 1,000,000.00(ONE million shillings only).valid for 120 days from the date of tender opening.

6. The Service Provider shall be paid based on the tonnage of waste collected from the zone, transported and disposed of safely at the designated disposal site at a rate of Kshs 2,331.33 per ton (Two thousand, three hundred and thirty one shillings and thirty three cents)

7. Completed Tender Documents in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender number and title shall be deposited in the Tender Box located at the main entrance to the procurement offices located on the 1 st floor city hall annex room 105 along Muindi Mbingu Street

8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 31st January 2023 at 10:30am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers' designated representatives who choose to attend.

9. No bidder is allowed to bid for more than one zone. The procuring entity will only award a bidder one zone.

10. Late tenders will be rejected
