JOB DETAILS:
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition, Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Education & Extension/Agriculture or a closely related field from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in community development work implementing household resilience programs, food security, child related activities.
• Experience in Project Management including program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Good understanding of SPHERE and other international standards.
• Ability to conduct community Households Resilience needs assessment, program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HHR interventions
• Must have ability to develop good working relationships/partnership with all stakeholders (GoK, INGOs)
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written),
• Networking and advocacy skills
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional maturity.
• Excellent computer skills
• Community Mobilization skills highly required
• Knowledge of local language is preferable
