JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all the business projects including of the core systems of the company (both Kenya and Uganda)
• Delineating project requirement and general conditions.
• Development and implementation of project plans.
• Using appropriate project management tools and technique to track project performance.
• Identify, secure, and coordinate the implementation of internal and external resources, and expertise as appropriate to achieve project objectives
• Provide periodic project status report as per agreed project reporting timeline(s) - Provide and ensure there is smooth communication with and between the project and stakeholders at critical points, in the implementation of the project plan.
• Advice process teams on cross-functional considerations, workflow integration and coordination, and optimization of best practices.
• Liaise with project team members to come up with solutions for improved technological operations.
• Organize meetings to discuss and review project operational strategies.
• Provide documentation of test results with recommendations for new Systems/ Applications roll-outs and changes/ enhancements to existing functionalities.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify factors capable of minimizing the success of a project.
• Provide immediate reports of Systems/ Application risk areas that require mitigations.
• Conduct project post-implementation reviews.
• Preparation of all project documentation.
Education, Experience & Competencies
• Education: Graduate level in an IT or Business related field.
• Project Management Certification such as PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, CPM, CPMP.
• Experience: 5 years practical experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects.
• The candidate must have proven experience in managing technology projects.
• Strong ability to solve problems in a complex environment.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Clinical and attentive to detail.
• Solution driven able to react quickly and resolve issues.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
