JOB DETAILS:
The Girl Child Network (GCN) is a National Network of Organizations working to improve programming in the children sector through advocating and promoting the rights of children particularly the girl child. Within the Education program, we are implementing a project dubbed Every Girl in School (EGIS) whose objective is to ensure children enjoy and benefit from learning improve on enrolment retention, performance and transition from one level to the next. The EGIS project shall be implemented in Kajiado and Turkana Counties for a period of 3 Years.

Project Assistant-Based in Mashuru/Loltoktok (I position)
The Project Assistant will be responsible for formation and strengthening of school and community based initiatives that support girls' access to education.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work or any other equivalent academic qualifications from a recognized university and have a minimum of 3 years of related work experience. S/he should possess good mobilization facilitation and report writing skills
