JOB DETAILS:
Programme Lead

The Job
The Programme Lead coordinates and oversees the implementation of the donor-funded projects assigned to them, making sure we implement effectively, meet results, comply with requirements and optimize communication and reporting to our donors.

Responsibility areas:

• Operational execution: Overseeing the operational execution of the projects assigned to you, to ensure implementation aligns with donor requirements and meets the goals and objectives on time and in full.
• Grant management: Monitoring grants to ensure that we comply with donor regulations and that all relevant documentation is in place and periodically reviewed.
• Business development: Assisting in proposal development/writing as needed.
• Donor and partner relations: Maintain relationships with donors and partners involved in the projects in your area.
• Risk & Compliance: Identifying compliance risks in your portfolio and advising and supporting others in the organization when actions need to be taken.
• Reporting: You deliver high-quality reports that meet donor requirements.
• Capacity Building: Training of stakeholders in the particulars of your projects.

About You
You’re a confident individual, with great interpersonal skills, enjoy working across multiple teams, have an ability to bring people together, and represent Triggeriese in front of donors and at public events.

Essential skills:
• You are based in Kenya.
• You have previous experience as a Programme Lead/ Programme Manager or relevant position.
• You have a clinical background and graduation, preferably in SRH (Sexual Reproductive Health).
• You have experience in maintaining positive relationships with donors and partners for projects within your area.
• You have global fund experience.
• You are good at writing reports, delivering presentations, and responding efficiently to donor requests.
• You have strong interpersonal skills, can work across teams, and bring people together.
• You are thorough, organized, and pay attention to detail.
