Production Supervisor
Location: Githunguri
Reports to: Senior Production Supervisor
Salary: Competitive

Our client is a world class producer of dairy Brands.
They seek to hire a highly qualified and efficient Production Supervisor who will be tasked with Supervision of staff and ensuring proper utilization of resources through monitoring of processes for maximum quality production.

Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out proper and efficient operations of milk processing and / or packaging to achieve set quantitative and qualitative production targets.
• Work closely with engineering maintenance personnel in facilitating and ensuring proper machines and equipment servicing and maintenance.
• Liaise and work closely with the Quality Assurance personnel in facilitating and ensuring conformance to milk and milk products statutory standards.
• Develop and implement improved production techniques that improve cost efficiency
• Effectively monitor and track tools and machinery being used for production
• Develop effective and efficient strategies that ensure reduction of reworks and wastage
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress report to the Senior Production Supervisor
• Ensure safety compliance while on sight

Skills & Qualifications
• Degree in Dairy / Food Science and Technology / Dairy Science and Technology from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years experience as a Production / Quality assurance Supervisor in a food processing company preferably dairy processing company.
• Must be prepared to work in a shift arrangement.
• Knowledge and experience in HACCP and ISO management systems and Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
• Experience in UHT processing and packaging systems will be an added advantage.
