Procurement Manager
Role Description
- Lead and manage company-wide implementation, deployment and compliance with the procurement policy and processes.
- Lead efforts to implement sourcing strategies and enforce compliance at the regional level.
- Manage RFI/RFP, document recommendations and communicate results to vendors.
- Contribute to sourcing activities, procurement projects, vendor management and agreement management.
- Negotiate, implement, and review contractual arrangements with suppliers to deliver the company’s cost savings targets.
- Contribute to maintaining internal control standards and implementation of all audit recommendations.
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
- Perform Quarterly Business Reviews and Audits whenever applicable.
- Preparing monthly procurement reports.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and service.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Managing the procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and paying for goods and services.
- Monitoring supplier performance for optimal business operations performance.
- Tracking key metrics and KPIs to reduce costs.
- Analyzing procurement data, conducting spend analysis, and preparing reports.
- Optimizing workflows and automation processes to save time and money.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and laws.
- Leading the procurement department, including a team of procurement assistants and other team members.
- Any other duty assigned to you by management
Minimum Requirements
- Required: 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferable in an FMCG.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a similar field.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of procurement processes and procedures with a strong bias for project management.
- Experience with the Purchase to Pay process, and ERP systems.
- High levels of integrity.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player, open-mindedness, willingness to learn new things, hands-on attitude.
- Management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
