JOB DETAILS:
Roy Transmotors is seeking to hire Preventive Maintenance and Diagnostic Manager who will be responsible for the preventive maintenance of the fleet in in highly serviceable condition and ensure the same is done in pro-active and cost-effective manner that is both efficient and effective. .

Diagnostics technician required ( One year Contract, withholding tax applicable)
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and update preventive maintenance schedule for all trucks and trailers
• Ensure preparation and adherence to a vehicle preventive maintenance program
• Diagnostic and maintenance plan for MAN, EFR, RENAULT and MERCEDES BENZ Trucks
• Prepare monthly Truck Maintenance cost report and advice on the Truck condition and economic viability of spares/rehabilitation.
• Report on the root cause of breakdowns and advice on maintenance issues due to negligence of drivers and mechanics
• Carry out thorough preventive inspection and repairs as required
• Reprograming of ignition system
• Carry out repairs and authorize release of vehicle by signing VIR
• Inspect trucks to ensure they meet the required standards of the clients
• Advice workshop manager on the major repairs needed on the vehicles after diagnostics

Qualification
• At least Certificate in Automotive Electrician/manufacturing engineering technology
• At least three years’ experience in the same field
• Good knowledge on all vehicle makes, trucks on electrical systems and components
• Good understanding of engine safety system and control units
