JOB DETAILS:
A. Department Of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing And Urban Development

4. Physical Planner, JOB GROUP CPSB 09 (1 POST)

Duties And Responsibilities
i. Preparing physical and Land use development plans for small and medium sized urban
areas.
ii. Collecting, collating and analyzing urban, County and inter-County physical and Land use planning data.
iii. Preparing action plans for specific projects such as residential housing schemes and shopping centers.
iv. Providing advice on development applications.
V. Providing logistical support to physical and land use liaison Committees.
vi. Updating and maintaining physical planning records and vii. Any other duties that maybe assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

Requirements For Appointment
i. Be a Kenyan Citizen. ii. Have a Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines:-Urban & Regional
Planning, Urban Planning, Town planning or Spatial planning from a recognized
Institution.
ii.Be a graduate Member of Kenya Institute of Planners (KIP) or Architectural Association
of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter) Certificate in Computer Applications. Proficiency in Geographic Information System, Auto-card proficiency. Meets all requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
a. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation b. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) C. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) d. Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e. Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
