JOB DETAILS:
The Recruiting entity is one of the largest Pension Schemes in the Country with an asset base of over Ksh 15B. The Pension Scheme has over Kshs 11 Billion invested m one (1) Commercial Building, residential properties and vacant plots spread across the country. The Scheme is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

Pensions Administration Assistant
The role will support the Pensions Administration Officer prepare, calculate and administer leaving service benefits to members of the scheme in a timely manner in accordance with the Act. Regulations and Trust Deed, and undertake office administration tasks

Duties & Responsibilities
• Examination and verification of claims for payment of benefits.
• Documentation and proper maintenance of member records in both physical and electronic formats.
• Maintenance of all benefits payment records and issuance of member's statements, preparing accounts and other benefits within the set service standards.
• Preparation of relevant statutory Reports.
• Processing for approvals of all paymentsrelating to members.
• Regular reconciliations of unclaimed benefits and Inactive members and updating relevant registers.
• EnsureAnnual interest declared is applied to deferred benefits.
• Ensure security and safe custody of Benefits records, equipment and documents.
• Prepare data for actuarial valuation and audit, and
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned.

Person Specification
• Bachelors Degree Actuarial Science. Mathematics. Statistics. Finance. Business Administration or any other related field.
• Knowledge of R8A Regulations and legislation governing Retirement Benefits sector.
• A minimum of three - five (3-5) years' experience in pension administration.
