Pathfinder International is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting high quality comprehensive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in Kenya. Pathfinder International is currently the prime contractor for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Afya Pwani program which seeks to improve and increase access and utilization of quality health services in Kenya, through strengthened service delivery and institutional capacity of county health systems in Taita Taveta, Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi and Lamu counties respectively.

Pathfinder International is seeking highly motivated, talented and hardworking individuals to join the Afya Pwani team at the Coast as Technical Advisors-PMTCT (2). The incumbents will coordinate PMTCT activities at the County, Sub-County, facility and community levels in collaboration with the County Departments of Health and other stakeholders to ensure elimination of mother to child transmission (eMTCT) of HIV in Afya Pwani supported counties. The Technical Advisors will be expected to ensure that all pregnant and breastfeeding women living with HIV are identified, initiated on
Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) and are virally suppressed, their HIV exposed infants (H El) receive appropriate interventions that will prevent vertical transmission of HIV and Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) and are virally suppressed, their HIV exposed infants
(H El) receive appropriate interventions that will prevent vertical transmission of HIV and provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to other staff members.
