AHF Kenya collaborates with the Kenyan government, partner Institutions and civil society to provide HIV Prevention, Care & Treatment within Kenya.
To meet these needs AHF Kenya wishes to recruit an Operations Manager to be based in Nairobi
Job Summary
Responsible for managing Operations and Administrative functions of the AHF Kenya Program. This function will be executed by ensuring all round management of AHF Kenya operations in all the supported sites operate in, training and supervision, managing the operations of the project sites, supports the development and implementation of work scopes aimed at enhancing program performance and expansion; ensure implementation of and adherence to operational, administrative and finance policies and procedures and program approved operational budgets. Enhances partnerships with government, contractors and other stakeholders and participates in expansion of all programs areas within the supported sites. The position will also be the custodian of HR and HR related matters, management of staff insurance and medical schemes and management of leave and absence records. The position also maintains the fixed assets register and manages the assets control software. Reports to the Country Program Director
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, business administration and management, and public administration from a recognized college or university
• 5-7 years' experience in a field directly related to operational duties including capacity building, budget management, basic finance management, supplies and procurement management.
• Qualification in CPA or ACCA is highly desirable.
• Experience working in healthcare delivery systems is and added advantage
• Willing to travel to the site projects 40% of the time.
• Needs to be sensitive to patient population and issues surrounding HIV/AIDS
