The Office of the Controller of Budget (OCOB) was established by the Constitution of Kenya 2010, under Article 228 and became operational upon the appointment of the Controller of budget on 27th August 2011.
County Budget Coordinator
Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills). Academic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Finance,Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent;
- Must be a member of a recognized professional body e.g. Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) in good standing
Previous relevant work experience required.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a relevant field
Functional Skills, Behavioral Competencies/Attributes:
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
Research and Planning Office
Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills). Academic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics,Information Science, Knowledge Management, Communication, Finance, Research or equivalent from a recognized institution
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
- Must be a member of a related professional body Previous relevant work experience required.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant field

- Proficiency in computer applications

Librarian
Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills).
- Academic qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, Communication or equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Must have undertaken at least one-year Internship in relevant discipline with a reputable organisation.

- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of kenya 2010
Fiscal Analyst
Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills). Academic qualifications
