E-Learning Manager

The Position: 

The E-Learning Manager will be responsible for the management and execution of eLearning delivery, maintenance and development of eLearning curriculum, and optimization of the Learning Management platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and or coordinates own staff team and other persons (curriculum developers, peer and senior management, content contributors/reviewers) involved in eLearning delivery (Innovation, Execution, Performance, Learning and Development, Recognition).
  • Manages the eLearning budget within approved Learning, Development and Talent budget.
  • Source and implement best in class learning assets for inclusion in the Bank’s eLearning catalogue.
  • Manage eLearning content development, platform maintenance and platform upgrade projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design eLearning courses.
  • Develops, manages, and maintains relationships with INTERNAL / EXTERNAL customers/stakeholders/supplies relating to own HR Area: Heads of Department, Line Managers, eLearning Service Providers, eLearning Curriculum Developers, Instructional Designers and Learning Institutions, Shared Service Departments (Finance, Procurement).
  • Maintain data, records and statistics relating to own HR area: Learning Management System licenses and documentation, assignment and course completion data, staff leaner days and e-course certifications, content versioning.
  • Utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting activities;
  • Manage the learning Management system, LMS
  • Supervise every stage of the eLearning projects and coordinating in house reviews and meetings.

The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • A HR Management or Business-Related Degree from a recognized university.
  • Professional Certification in Human Resource/Learning & Development/ Learning Technology.
  • At Least 5 years’ experience in Human Resource with at least 3 years’ experience in Learning and Development; Instructional Design; Learning Technologies; Customer Service; People Management; Relationship Management and Project management
  • High quality, standard-based online course design and development.
  • Collaborating with and support of every stakeholder
  • Conducting online quality course design reviews;
  • Coordination of projects, tracking and reporting on project status, teamwork, leadership, innovation and delivery of consistent, quality products within established timelines;
  • Developing, recommending, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and work flow;
  • Preparing a variety of reports related to operational activities, including statistical analysis;
  • Evaluating the quality of production materials and services including budgets
  • Utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting activities;
  • Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums.
  • Manage the learning Management system, LMS
  • Supervise every stage of the eLearning projects and coordinating in house reviews and meetings.
  • Ability to carry out operating policies and procedures with a focus on online course development, faculty training and support of online instructional design.
  • Ensuring the goals for the e-Learning strategy are achieved, through evaluation at different levels.

Data Scientist

The Position:

Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, the role holder will be responsible for the implementation of initiatives that impact business positively through the use of advanced analytics techniques such as predictive and prescriptive modelling, advanced statistical analysis, data mining, data visualization and machine learning. This role requires a blend of technical, business, interpersonal and data science skills that will be utilized to manipulate, analyze and interpret large and varied datasets resulting in insights and analytics solutions that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise the business leadership team on analytics value opportunities on an ongoing basis and translate business problems into specific analytics and technology enabled solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions through Advanced Analytics and the use of various data mining techniques such as exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis.
  • Create predictive and prescriptive advanced analytics solutions and models that will support various business initiatives and result in actionable insights and recommendations, operational decisions and ensure effective business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain user and technical documentation/manuals on business requirements (business questions and hypothesis), data sources, ETL related activities, data quality assessment, data cleansing activities, data mining analyses, models developed, reports generated and statistical solutions developed and deployed.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources, data governance activities (e.g. data quality and cleansing strategies) data gathering techniques and develop processes and tools to monitor, analyze and tune model performance and data accuracy.
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data including transforming of large, complex datasets into pragmatic and actionable insights.
  • Utilize industry standards and methodologies such as CRISP-DM in the analysis and development of advanced analytics solutions and development of best practices for model development, data mining, management, maintenance, reporting and security.
  • Drive innovation through Advance Analytics democratization initiatives such as creating awareness and assisting business in understanding the power and value of analytical approaches to decision-making, evangelizing through e-learning, training business on how to use some of the advanced analytics tools, showing them how to interpret results, insights and contribution to the organization’s strategic goals and influence their decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic partnerships in the business, technology and academic field
  • Stays abreast of industry and regulatory trends that may impact new and existing strategy development.

The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning Techniques.
  • At Least 5 years’ experience in Math’s and Statistics, Analytics & Modelling and Machine Learning Methods, with at least 4 years’ experience in Programming and Data visualization, and 2 years’ experience in SQL.
  • Experience in Intellectual Curiosity, Communication and Data Governance

Direct Sales Representatives

The Position:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the sales representatives will be responsible for acquisition of new business within the assigned Sales locations. The position is on contract terms for a period of 12 months.

This challenging opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business will involve the following:

  • Deliver set sales targets in asset and liability for KCB Bank.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in product campaigns to ensure product information is readily available to customers.
  • Conduct door-to-door direct selling
