JOB DETAILS:
Non-Revenue Water Manager
REF: RJWS/NRWM/2022/09/04
Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate and come up with programs and action plans for the company to implement in NRW reduction.
• Closely and strictly enforce the implementation of the drawn-up programs and actions.
• Disseminate new and modern information and techniques for NRW reduction and management to the company’s entire fraternity.
• Develop, improve, and strictly enforce policies and procedures on Meter reading/servicing/testing and replacement, disconnection/reconnection, pipeline status inspections/maintenance, leaks/bursts establishment and repairs, illegal connections, 100% metering by Company in its daily operation.
• Carry out staff (all) training and capacity building on NRW reduction strategies to raise awareness.
• Establish adequate documentation/record keeping and reporting structures and systems and enforce them in the Company.
• Collate and analyze the NRW data and advise the Company on progress and any interventions that may be necessary at any point in time.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Engineering.
• Master’s Degree from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
• Postgraduate training/ qualification in the water supply.
• 5 years’ experience in network maintenance and water loss reduction and in the use of leak detection devices.
• 7 years’ work experience of which 3 must be in a managerial position in a Water Service Provider.
• Must fulfill requirements of chapter six (6) of the Kenyan Constitution
