JOB DETAILS:
As our Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Building and improving backend API and microservices
• Writing code that is easy to read, maintain, test, and follows proven practices and company formatting standard
• Working in a cross-functional team, helping to actively shape our product’s future
• Assisting in architectural decisions together with the team lead
• Supporting less experienced team members
• Working closely with Product team to ensure the quality of our products

Requirements
• 5+ years of industry experience as a backend software engineer
• Experience in agile software development (XP, Scrum, Kanban etc)
• Extensive knowledge of Javascript and NodeJS.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Experience with test frameworks for TDD and BDD
• Understanding about software design patterns and best practices
• Experienced in working with queue, batching and other techniques to handle big amounts of API calls and others.
• Experience in Stripe Integration is not a must but is a big advantage.
