We are looking for a proactive impact-focused Networking Category Developer Intern to successfully propel ShopIt in ensuring a versatile and thriving Networking Products Category (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Video Conferencing, Controllers, POE Injectors, Firewall, IP Phones etc.) & Telephony Category (Mobile Phones, Tablets, Accessories, Satellite phones, etc.) that emulates and complies with ShopIt Customer Expectations and Company Operations. To be successful as a Networking & Telephony Category Developer at ShopIt you should be detail-oriented and adept in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment in Networking and Telephony. You must possess a commercial mindset fueled by integrity and have adequate comprehension of marketing and sales principles.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Networking & Telephony Category Tree Development; Develop and implement category strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit targets in Networking and Telephony products.
• Monitoring and Adjusting Market Dynamics (Customer preferences, industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations).
• Networking & Telephony products catalog and products content (Specifications); Manage Networking & Telephony product assortment (planning, selection, and optimization).
• Conduct regular performance reviews of Networking & Telephony product categories to ensure customer quality expectations and trends-conscious, monitoring competitor Networking & Telephony products and pricing to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
• Oversight of Networking & Telephony Products’ pricing policy and its enforcement
• Developing exit strategies for unsuccessful Networking & Telephony products and revitalizing dormant Networking & Telephony products.
• Networking & Telephony Products information and quality assurance; Devising long-term development strategies for Networking & Telephony products category.
• Networking & Telephony Competitors profile and pricing comparison Database Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Networks and Security, ICT, or a related field.
• Preferrable Experience in product(s) category development or related roles, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability with Networking & Telephony Products.
• Proficiency in using category management software and tools.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and customer care skills
• Experience in the IT, Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and proactively influence others.
