JOB DETAILS:
Our Client Imarisha Sacco is a duly licensed deposit-taking Sacco under the SACCO Socie..AL 2003 und has its major operations in Kericho, Bomet. Nakuru, Kisumu and Uasin Gishu Counties with head office in Kericho town. Imarisha Sacco began its operations in 1978 and has since grown to be a financial service provider of choice in the region with nine branches, We are looking for focused, dynamic and experienced individuals to fill the following position above; We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communication network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy.configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. .

Key responsibilities:
• To fully support network administration duties including installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and support for network equipment in use.
• Administer and support third party applications
• To evaluate, recommend and deploy software and hardware upgrades to the networking infrastructure,
• To manage and troubleshoot network and internet connectivity throughout the organization.
• To create and maintain documents for all processes and procedures for use of network resources, and create technical support documentation for systems in use.
• To perform relevant backups and maintenance.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization throughput, good put and latency) and test for weaknesses.
• To collect and analyze data to optimize performance and support the clients' alternative business channels,
• Define network policies and procedures.
• Specify system requirements and design solutions.
Create training and educational materials to ensure that users understand security protocols, connection procedures, and other necessary information.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or IT related field
• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching,
• Excellent knowledge of best practice around management, control and monitoring of servers and networking infrastructure,
• Experience with firewalls, internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution is desired.
• Familiarity with backup & recovery software and methodologies,
• Additional certification in CompTIA's Network+, Cisco's CCNA and Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client will be an added advantage..
