Municipal Manager – Awendo Municipality (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the affairs of the Municipality
2. Developing and adopting Policies, plans strategies and programmes;
3. Formulating and implementing an integrated Municipal Development plans;
4. Maintaining a comprehensive database and information system of the administration and providing public access.
5. Ensuring preparation of workshops, Budgets and policies
6. Shall be the Secretary to the Municipal Board
Requirements for Appointment
1. Must be a Kenyan
2. has a degree from an institution recognized in Kenya;
3. Must be a Certified Public Secretary in good professional standing;
4. has at least four years’ experience in management; and
5. Satisfies the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 48
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree

2. All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Thursday 31st March, 2022 at 5:00pm.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.
4. For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearances:
• Tax compliance certificate from KRA
• Clearance certificate from HELB
• Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
• Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
