JOB DETAILS:
The overall purpose of this role is to lead the direction and development of programme monitoring and deliver high standards of monitoring, learning and evaluation reporting on a variety of projects and programmes. Farm Africa is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that reduces poverty in rural eastern Africa by helping farmers grow more, sell more and sell for more: we help farmers to not only boost yields, but also gain access to markets, and add value to their produce. We place a high priority on environmental sustainability and develop approaches that help farmers to improve their yields and incomes without degrading their natural resources. Achieving this means it is vital that our work delivers lasting positive change for the communities we work with. Job Responsibilities:
• The overall purpose of this role is to lead the direction and development of programme monitoring and deliver high standards of monitoring, learning and evaluation reporting on a variety of projects and programmes.
• Providing analytical support, quality assurance and capacity building to our field teams to ensure Farm Africa’s monitoring, evaluation and learning systems deliver credible, useful and accessible evidence of project results. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEL professional to apply proven analytical and communication skills to real world challenges.
