The challenge
• We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing leader tjoin initial time in our company's journey thelp build, define, and optimize a modern, best-in-class marketing technology stack that enables the tech ecosystem tpower the future growth of digital media business.
• We are seeking a hands-on player as well as an empowering coach, whhas a strategic, results-oriented mindset tdevelop and lead a multi-functional team across platform innovation, governance, and operations.
• You will operate the marketing technology and core processes that enable the growth and efficiency goals of our global B-to-B marketing organizations that support both our Digital Experience (DX) and Digital Media (DMe) business units.
• This leader will be maniacally be focused on not only building & fueling the engine, but obsessively working toptimize the value and efficiencies it enables for the business at every stage of our lead-to-revenue process.
• The Director of Marketing Technology Strategy & Operations will will alswork directly with external vendors, agencies and consultants tdesign, develop and maintain a world-class marketing engine, infrastructure and process.
• As we face hyper-growth in tech space, this leader will have the opportunity tdrive large, multi-year transformation and platform initiatives whilst establishing processes and solutions that scale with the tech evolution.
• You’ll be required tpartner closely with Tech team, Sales Operations, and our partners across marketing including but not limited, tech startups, Digital Marketing, Campaign Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Program Management tdeliver on a roadmap that meets the needs of the business.
• You will evangelize a data-driven marketing approach, identifying and prioritizing technology and operational needs of the business that maximizes the customer experience, while enabling a compelling return on investment.
What You’ll Do
• Manage a team of marketing product managers, operations managers and tech lead architects generally aligned tthe following functions:
• Marketing/Lifecycle Operations (lead capture, scoring, routing, hand-off tInside Sales).
• Platform Operations (integrations, templates, data management, deployment orchestration).
• Innovation & Governance (product roadmap, vendor evaluation, process architecture, operational data governance).
Manage Tech Strategy & Roadmap:
• Drive the modernization and transformation of our marketing technology digital platform tsupport our B-to-B go-to-market strategy, managing a rolling 12-month plan.
• Provide guidance, best practices and governance tcentralized and/or decentralized teams on usage of the marketing technology digital platform toptimally drive business growth.
• Lead organization tadopt our Digital Experience solutions (Customer Zero) tallow our organization tinnovate, deliver on objectives and be the best Adobe customer.
Marketing Funnel Management:
• Own lead lifecycle (”Market-to-Lead”) processes, driving a globally consistent framework for lead scoring that incorporates best practice behavioral and predictive elements.
• Deliver an automation strategy and stack that enables high-levels of customer engagement and pipeline predictability from lead-to-opportunity.
Marketing Data & Technology Ops:
• Lead migrations and integrations of CRMs and MAPs from M&A activity; standardize process tevaluate and implement MAP app/integrations in close partnership with tech ecosystem
• Provide requirements and operational support for core and adjacent demand technology (priority is tech that supports lead management, email campaign execution, paid media marketing, cross-channel orchestration, operational reporting).
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in tech digital media operations roles supporting B-to-B and SaaS delivery models. Recent experience delivering large-scale, technology-enabled transformation program, a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a complex marketing/sales technology stack. Deep understanding of CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics) and Marke to, a plus.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software buying process, lead management process, as well as demand funnel and pipeline dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in development of key metrics tmeasure success, as well as process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability twork in a team-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability tmotivate and create "paths" for team members during challenging phases of projects
• Strong ability tbuild relationships with internal leadership at all levels. Thrives in complex environments. Strong partner tbusiness, IT & data/BI engineering functions.
• Confident, positive and energetic operations professional with the ability tdrive vision and coach/manage a globally distributed team
