Overview
Responsibilities
• Reads work instructions to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed
• Pulls and prepares product for shipment, in an efficient manner, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
• Sorts and places materials or items on pallets, racks, or designated areas according to predetermined pallet positions
• Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages products using a forklift, hand clump, reach truck, or other power equipment
• Maintains equipment by keeping it clean and safe, reporting service requests as needed
• Assists in maintaining the safety of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Weighing and/or counting items received and/or dispatched from warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle count, ensuring proper stock rotation
• Assists in distribution center/warehouse clean-up as required

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in a warehouse environment
• Previous experience operating a Reach truck and/or Forklift
• Certified Forklift operation license
• OHS training
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment
• Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) including basic data entry
