JOB DETAILS:

Our Client is an interior architecture and design firm based in Kenya. They provide end-to-end processes for design solutions; from design, planning, and execution (build/fit out) to furnishing and decorating spaces.
They seek to hire a Site Clerk who will be charged with assisting the Site Manager (SM) and Project Manager(PM) with routine documentation and performance of administrative tasks at the site.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Receive and dispatch materials
• Issue work equipment, tools and machinery
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of work tools, equipment and machinery
• Manage and monitor stock and materials
• Maintain site records, and conduct daily stock take and stock reconciliation
• Monitor workers’ attendance and maintain attendance sheets
• Monitor the health and safety of the site
• Report any security, health and safety incidents and accidents
• Assume leadership of the site temporarily

Required Specifications
• Possess a good understanding of stores management and stock tracking
• Attention to detail, precision and accuracy
• A minimum of 1-year experience as a Site Clerk in an interior design (construction) project
• A minimum of a KCSE Certificate or equivalent
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Good communication skills

JOB DETAILS:

Our Client is an interior architecture and design firm based in Kenya. They provide end-to-end processes for design solutions; from design, planning, and execution (build/fit out) to furnishing and decorating spaces.
They seek to hire a Site Manager who will manage the team at the site and have oversight over daily operations at the project site.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Run the project (end-end) on-site and provide leadership to the team onsite
• Meet and deliver project milestones
• Ensure compliance and quality work
• Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox meetings
• Take and record accurate site measurements
• Maintain health and safety compliance on site
• Prepare and submit records
• Oversee the use of all materials, tools and equipment on site
• Compile a material list
• Ensure that all drawings, design instructions, site rules and regulations are adhered to on- site
• Handle emergencies according to established procedures
• Prepare and maintain accident reports.

Required Specifications
• A minimum of 2years experience as a Site Manager in an interior design (construction) project
• A minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field
• Attention to detail, precision and accuracy
• Health and safety training will be an added advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Able to plan and organise tasks and manage teams at the site
• Flexible to work within and outside normal working hours (Including evenings and weekends)
• Great communication skills (both oral and written)- able to write detailed reports
• A person of integrity
• Strong team management and supervisory skills
