JOB DETAILS:
Litigation Associate
MW & Company Advocates LLP (MWC Legal) is looking for a passionate and diligent lawyer to fill in a vacancy in its dispute resolution department. The associate position in the dispute resolution department will require the applicant to undertake all aspects of litigation support in the firm. The primary goal of this position is to ensure the successful execution of all litigation matters and proper case management.
Reports to: Partner in charge of Litigation

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist with case management of all litigation matters in the firm;
• Attending court, arbitration, and mediation sessions when required;
• Bring up of matters; and
• Drafting pleadings and any other court documents.

Requirements:
• Not more than three (3) to six (6) months post-admission experience in handling litigation matters in a law firm;
• An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
• Bachelor of Laws Degree (Second Class Honors);
• Proven ability to implement processes and improvement initiatives;
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff;
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills; and
• Excellent communication skills.
