JOB DETAILS:
Laboratory Technologist II (1 POST)
REF/MCPSB/364/2022
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
1. Carry out tests of Micro-biological and chemical analysis in the factory.
2. Planning for acquisitions of chemicals and other equipment required in the laboratory.
3. To ensure that the equipment are properly maintained.
4. To advice the Managing Director on measures to ensure food quality standards are met.
5. And any other duties assigned by the Managing Director from time to time in line of duty.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
1. Diploma in Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized training institution.
2. Three (3) years working experience in Food-based Factory.
3. Been able to carry out Micro-biological tests, chemical tests analysis, etc.
4. Knowledge on safety procedure standards.
5. Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.

• Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
• Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
