JOB DETAILS:
HJF Medical Research International, Inc. (HJFMRI) provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to global medical research programs. The HJFMRI have vacancies for KDF PEPFAR Program Director and a Registered Clinical Officer within the PEPFAR Program. The Director is based in Nairobi and reports to DOD PEPFAR Country Director and the Clinical Officer is based in Mombasa and reports to Care and Treatments Program Manager. .

Job Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for overall strategic direction and management of US President's Emergency Plan For Aids Relief (PEPFAR) funded comprehensive HIV Prevention, MTCT, Care, Treatment and Support activities under the USAMRD-K and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) in the KDF HIV Program. The Program Director secures and coordinates cooperation with and support from US Government, MoH/Gok, and the Kenya Ministry of State for Defence (MOSD). Mombasa County, officials and in-country agencies as it relates to the need and goals of care and treatment and research activities supported in by HJF Medical Research International, Inc. (HJFMRI). The Director leads overall management of HIV and PEPFAR research activities of 3 branches of the KDF: the Army, Air Force and the Navy.
