JOB DETAILS:

As the Junior Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing interesting contents centred around improving Jiji as Kenya’s No.1 online marketplace and also engaging our customers on our social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are duties you will be responsible for:
• Research relevant topics that fit the Jiji audience
• Come up with rubrics and content for all social media channels
• Work with trends in media content and find insights for creative campaigns
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs

REQUIREMENTS
We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:
• Critical thinking and strong ability to analyse information: interest in learning trends, find out opinions, work with forums, media and social platforms
• Ability to generate creative ideas
• Versatility
• BSc degree in Digital Marketing, Journalism and Advertising
• Job experience in digital marketing and content creation
• Proficiency in different social media scheduling and analytical tools
